The purpose of our church is to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, witnessing, social concerns and Christian education. Above all we are taught and instructed to live a life of holiness. Our aim is to prepare the Church of Jesus Christ and the local communities to recognize and cope with the problems that surround us. We are also taught to look and prepare for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Titus 2:14).

It is our goal that evangelism and social concerns be developed into a comprehensive ministry in order to complete the Lord’s work. Having an understanding of what ministry is, enables us to continue as the early church and the Apostles did in biblical times. Simply put, “Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not…” (2 Corinthians 4:1)

Established in 1967, The First Antioch Church is the result of a divine call to obedience. Our founder, the late Dr. William A. Clark II answered the call to Pastorship, sold his home and relocated to Trenton, NJ. There he and his wife purchased the propoerty which was formally a funeral home that burned down.

Dr. Clark's successor, the late Elder Howard N. Thompson, contributed to the work and now our servant leader, Pastor Larry Fore, continues to carry the torch that was lit many years ago. We can never forget the sacrifice and labor of love exemplified by Bishop William and Mother Susie Clark, Deacon Ronald Clark, Elder Howard Thompson, and Deacon Lester Scott.

Pastor and First Lady Fore along with the FAC family, will continue following the plan that God established through Bishop Clark, until the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism - Ephesians 4:5

  • We believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God. It contains the keys to inheriting eternal life and reveals the mystery of our faith - John 5:39; Deuteronomy 29:29

  • We believe in the oneness of God: the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and today He is the Holy Ghost in the church - 1 Timothy 3:16

  • We believe that Jesus is God, for in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. We proclaim that Jesus is the name of God that was given to this generation as the only Name whereby the people of this grace dispensation of time can be saved - Colossians 2:9, Acts 4:12

  • We accept God's plan of salvation by baptism of water and spirit. Jesus Christ, who was our perfect example, though sinless, was baptized to fulfill righteousness - John 3:5; Matthew 3:15

  • We believe that rebirth by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential today just as it was in the days of the Apostles - Acts 2:4

  • We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed throughout the world according to Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15; Romans 10:18
